Madeleine Stuart is a photographer from Suffolk, now based in Cornwall, whose practice moves between portraiture, landscape, and analogue experimentation. Working primarily with film, she explores the shifting terrains of identity and sexuality, using slow, tactile processes to create images that hold space for ambiguity and self becoming. Her work often weaves together intimate portraits and environmental studies, tracing how place, memory, and queer experience shape one another. Across her projects, she continues to build a visual language that is both tender and quietly defiant.
