Topographies of Self is a series of analogue landscape photographs that explore the intersections between environment and identity. Shot on film, the work reflects my queer identity, mental health, and ongoing search for inspiration, using the landscape as both subject and metaphor. Each image becomes a terrain through which I navigate personal histories and emotional states, mapping the contours of resilience and vulnerability. The project illustrates acts of connection, grounding and reflection through my photographic process to my final images. By engaging with the land, I trace the shifting boundaries of self exploration and the ways in which inner and outer worlds converge.
